March 2010 Weekend Seminar Review

Network 21 Southern Africa held their quarterly Weekend Seminar with guest speaker Mats Holmberg, a Diamond from Sweden, last week in Johannesburg and Cape Town. The JHB event easily had over 5000 Amway Independent Business Owners attending:

Network 21 March Weekend Seminar

“I’m living proof that anyone can do this if they are willing to work hard and never ever give up!”

Exclaimed Mats Holmberg, the key speaker all the way from a small island between Finland and Sweden called Aland Island. He studied in Helsinki, Finland to become an engineer in machine automation. He was working as an engineer in the USA when he realized that a job would never give him what he wanted.

He saw the Amway business at the age of 24 in 1997 and after attending a seminar like this one he started to work at it. It took him 9 months to sponsor his first IBO and after one year he had basically no results despite working hard – mainly because his personality wasn’t suited to building this business at the time.

His talks were entertaining, vibrant and highly energetic! Combine this with over 4000 vuvuzelas being blown by the crowds and you have yourself one massive vibe!

  1. Hi!

Yes, I was there. Was a GREAT event! However, I don’t think the vuvuzelas were a good idea. Much of the recordings made at the seminar will be unusable because of the noise.

I’m really looking forward to the new product (the smaller bottles are kinda cute!) packaging and can’t wait to be part of what Amway is planning in Southern Africa and later in the rest of the continent!
